To be seen by the people abroad was the most unexpected and cherished gift I gained. To feel seen in your truest essence is to feel glorified and acknowledged.
I don’t know how it came together so beautifully, but all the people who I rendezvoused with in Chile were at some other monumental point in their own journey. I think we were all really open and raw. It was this powerful feeling of being confined by time and place. We only had a little of each to be our true selves experiencing a life journey that seldom comes around in this certain form. It reminds me a little of the hippie trail in the book Hippie. We all learned the routes and ways to get to a remote place on earth and juice every drop of unknowns. Adventuring in groups was wildly entertaining. Each person in the group had a skill that shined through by the end whether it was language decoding, cooking, directions or boosting morale, everyone had a niche. One time, Cat almost missed the 7 hour bus ride to the North and Lauren ran from the top level of the double decker bus to sit in the drivers seat and distract the diver (in Spanish) long enough for Cat to hop on the bus! I fell in love with so many of the faces below. I can't believe I haven't known them forever.
Cat showed be expression met with divine power. Lauren showed me the power of individuality. Who gives a fuck what others think! I'ts time to LIVE and LOVE! Mike taught me to always hold on to your personal swag; the right people will appreciate it. Grace B showed me how a diamond forms under pressure. Ethan taught me there’s always more to a person than they’re letting on. Katy taught me material things don't add value to an adventure, and all dogs deserve love. Jordan taught me to extract the beauty from dark places. Gage taught me healing. Seja taught me you can connect with any person on this earth if its meant to be. Sadie taught me how there's always a reason to be happy. Grace S. taught me to be a gentle warrior of a woman. Maddie taught me to go with the freaking flow and always tell jokes. So many more taught me so many things. I can't thank you humans enough for sharing love with me!
